This is a 2-day class. This class is better understood if you have taken the 2-day A/C class. It will introduce you to both the residential heat pump and the ductless split Inverter Systems.
Course Overview
In this class you will review the refrigerant cycle and learn how a heat pump works, how it is different than a simple A/C system. You will learn what the different components are, what ‘O’ and ‘B’ are in the thermostat and how to wire them, and you will be introduced to some special tools to assist you in that troubleshooting process.
